We bought the Sienna.
Only one previous owner - an older couple. It came with pretty much a full maintenance record, and is incredibly clean, inside and out. We also got it for less than the asking price. Woohoo!
Bonus deer eating the neighbor’s grass.

Nice score!
...Does TRD make anything cool for it?

I have no idea! That is an interesting thought, though...
Even as it is, it’ll be about a 100 hp upgrade for Mrs. BaconSandwich. Driving up a large hill on a river valley in the middle of town, the Pontiac Vibe struggles.

You can get a swagger kit for it... But I would advise against it.

If it doesn’t include wheels, springs, sway bars, supercharger, and/or exhaust, then it’s not worth it.

A TRD supercharged van would be all kinds of fun just to listen to the whine during daily driving.

Beige aside, it’ll be good to have a comfortable cruiser for the family. Once we got our Sedona, we began taking road trips over weekends and holidays that we didn’t when we had a coupe.

That Sienna has the 2GR, right? Lotus used that engine in the Evora, so you can use the Evora supercharger if you can get your paws on one.

I’m actually not sure what specific engine is in it, other than it is a V6.

Lotus makes a supercharger for it, since they use this engine in the Evora :o)

2008. 190,000 km on it, but it seems very well maintained. Always parked in a heated garage. Regular fluid changes, and a pretty good service history.

Yes, although I suspect it’s not as simple as that. The Evora S probably has a unique ECU with its own A/F maps and controls.
But find a complete set in a wrecked Evora S, and................profit!

Congrats, there’s always something badass about a car enthusiast embracing the practical side.
Unless you sold a Miata for this.

Thanks!
The wife’s Vibe will eventually be sold. It’s been a good car to us, but can’t fit three car seats in it.
I did the first oil change on the van earlier in the week. It's an interesting arrangement with the filter. Also first time owning something with more than 4 cylinders. Despite being a van, it does have more get up and go compared to anything else we have owned.

Is it any more work other than the larger qty of oil?

The filter arrangement is different. First, you drain the oil pan in the usual way. Wait for it to stop draining, replace the plug. Then you undo a small metal cap on the bottom of the filter housing, and screw in a plastic drain plug thing that pushes up into the filter housing to drain the filter itself. One that is done, unscrew the filter housing, replace the filter and two o-rings, put everything back, then fill it up.

Makes good sense to DIY then, sounds like something the dealer or mechanic would book an
hour plus
for.

The annoying part is that the filters are going to be more expensive - $10 compared to the usual $6-7. I don't know why the designed it the way that they did, but I'm sure some engineer thought it was a good idea for some reason.

Hopefully it’s for increased flow to accommodate the larger engine!
